Helping non-profit organizations successfully leverage social media and the digital web to market fundraising events.

Charitable Donations as Holiday Gifts [INFOGRAPHIC]

An infographic depicting survey results to help non-profits leverage the option of using charitable donations as holiday gifts. Suggestions of how non-profits can utilize these results in holiday marketing efforts:

  • Suggest charitable donations are great gifts for grandparents and new babies
  • Message with local support details – “100% of every donation helps Kansas Citians” or “Kansas residents benefitted by your support!”
  • Include in lists such as ‘Gifts under $50′ or ‘Gifts for the dad who has everything’
  • Provide In honor and In memoriam recognition on your website
  • Offer holiday card notifications with personalized messages; avoid offering email notifications
  • Combine a donation with a small gift such as a stuffed animal or t-shirt
  • Mention the “Joy of two gifts in one” – a donation to the organization + a gift to the recipient
  • Suggest these make thoughtful, loving gifts; avoid marketing as a last-minute gift option
  • Offer tickets to your major event with a donation of a certain amount - what they would normally pay when tickets are on sale, but allows them to give the ‘tickets’ as a holiday gift as well!

Greetings! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
